OpTex Fabrix Studio was created in 1984 as an umbrella studio for all the artistic

efforts of Sharon Robertson. Sharon is a self-taught designer, artist and writer who

works with mixed media to produce graphite drawings, CP paintings as well as

photography and embroidery design.  Sharon enjoys discovering old black and white

photos that she can bring to life and match with stories and poems from her past.

Sharon has lived in Washington state all her life and now resides in Upper Kittitas County.

She enjoys traveling the wilderness areas throughout Oregon, Montana, and Idaho in

addition to Washington, where she finds inspiration for her mixed media art.

Sharon is a member of the High Country Artist of Upper Kittitas County, Colored Pencil

Society of America (CPSA), and a Cle Elum Kiwanis Member.  You might see her art and

writings at the Carpenter House Museum and Gallery, Roslyn Art Walks and Holms Library

in Ellensburg, Washington.
